HAP Contract and Lease are signed |

If the Unit passes the HQS inspection, and the rent is deemed reasonable by the inspector, HSI will ask you to sign a Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) Contract. If you have a Lease you would like to use, HSI will provide an Addendum which HUD requires be incorporated into the owner's lease, verbatim. If you do not use a Lease, you and the Tenant will be asked to sign a HUD Section 8 Lease. To see a sample, contact our office to make an appointment. Final Step
