Wheels to Work

Wheels to Work is a vital way Bartholomew County supports people trying to gain independence.  Residents of Bartholomew County donate vehicles and the Wheels to Work program sells vehicles to participants that are in a self sufficiency program.  The basic qualifiers for the program are:
  1. Bartholomew County Resident
  2. Participation in a self-sufficiency program. A valid driverís license and the ability to obtain automotive insurance
  3. Currently employed or attending school with the goal of employment, and lacks a reliable vehicle or access to public transportation.
  4. Meets income guidelines, at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, and demonstrates the ability to afford the maintenance, tax, license plate and insurance cost of the automobile

If you are interested in helping this program, donate a vehicle, ask a friend to donate one, or donate auto repair, parts, and services. Donations are tax deductible.
